On my recent visit to Thieneba, we were warmly welcomed by many members of the community. The dynamic Cooperative Group President, Mere Top, gave me a tour of the garden site and the perfectly installed solar powered pumping system.

As a CREATE! stove builder and trainer extraordinaire, Mere was eager to show me the newest stove she built for making coffee near the garden site. We talked and laughed together while she demonstrated the hand measurements that are used in building a CREATE! improved cookstove.

Mere was then excited to take me to her house to see her stoves, which were perfectly constructed. She really has a powerful testimonial! I assured her, members of our Field Team, and the village chief that I never tire of seeing the fruit of the work of the women in the communities. It was wonderful. CREATE! in action!
