CREATE! joyfully welcomes two new technicians to our field team in Senegal!
Ousmane Ismaêl Diallo is CREATE!’s new horticultural technician for the communities of Fass Kane and Fass Koffe. Ousmane enjoys the technical responsibilities of his position and loves teaching cooperative members about innovative agricultural strategies. Originally from northern Senegal, Ousmane pursued his love for plants with a certificate in leadership and management of agricultural operations from Agence Nationale pour la Promotion de L’emploi des Jeunes in Dakar. In his free time, Ousmane enjoys sports and connecting with friends on the internet.
Mouhamed Diagne joined CREATE! as a horticultural technician for the community of Ouarkhokh. Diagne says that the goal of his work is to “raise awareness and educate people about their responsibilities and commitments to the environment.” He enjoys teaching agricultural and technical skills to beneficiaries so that they can improve their living conditions and preserve their environment through appropriate technology. Raised in Dakar, Diagne holds a certificate in horticulture and farm management from the Centre de Formation Professionnelle Horticole in Cambéréne. Diagne enjoys watching sports, including Senegalese wrestling and matches of the Inter Milan football club.
