CREATE! is excited to announce our new partnership with the International Foundation (www.intlfoundation.org). Based in New Jersey, the foundation funds nonprofit organizations who partner with poor communities in the developing world to improve their health, education, and incomes, while strengthening local capacity to sustain their benefits. The foundation believes that charity should deliver measurable and sustainable change that is “owned” by the project participants and that leaves broad, lasting benefits.
The International Foundation awarded CREATE! $25,000 to support the expansion of our program activities to a new community in rural Senegal. CREATE! field technicians will work with community members in this village to help them become economically self-sufficient and food, water, and energy secure.
We are thrilled to forge a new partnership with the International Foundation and to collaborate with a new Senegalese village to help community members build a sustainable future for their families!
